CAIendar for Android

Your app privacy

What CAIendar uses to help you plan, who processes it, and the choices you have.

Effective: 15 September 2026

Who is responsible?

CAIendar is operated by Mohamed Yehia, an individual based in Egypt, under the Google Play developer name Homelancer. Contact homelancer8@gmail.com about privacy, access, correction or deletion. The intended public app is for adults aged 18 and over in supported countries.

This notice covers the Android app and its backend. Our website privacy policy covers browsing this website and contacting us by email.

Your account and Google Calendar

Google/Firebase sign-in supplies your account identifier, email and profile information. We use these to authenticate you, maintain your CAIendar profile and protect access to your records.

Connecting Google Calendar is a separate choice. Initial read permission lets CAIendar display events from your primary calendar. Additional scheduling permission lets it check availability and create, update or remove events you confirm, including reminders. We use this information to provide the Calendar and planning features you choose.

We use Google account and Calendar data only for the features you choose. We do not sell it, use it for advertising or use it to train general-purpose AI models. Our handling of Google API data follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.

The backend stores profile, connection, meeting and invitation records. Calendar credentials are encrypted. The app keeps account-scoped Calendar data for browsing. Signing out clears account-scoped app data; it does not delete your backend account.

Text, invitation images and places

When you ask CAIendar to interpret meeting text or a selected invitation image, that input is sent to OpenAI to prepare an editable draft. Images are resized and processed to remove unnecessary metadata. Calendar credentials, Calendar event lists and your contacts list are not included in these interpretation requests. Information you enter or select may itself contain personal information; share only what you are entitled to use.

Review names, dates, time zones, places and recipients before saving. We disable response storage in these API requests, but this does not promise zero retention by the provider. See OpenAI’s data controls.

Place searches send the area or place information you enter to Geoapify. The current Android app does not request device location permission. Opening Google Maps sends your selected place or coordinates to Google Maps. A suggestion is not a booking.

Connections and invitations

Discoverability is optional and off by default. With your separate consent, email candidates from selected contacts or Calendar attendees can be processed to find users who chose to be discoverable. Candidate lists are processed transiently; discovery consent and aggregate usage counters are retained. Finding someone does not automatically send a request.

Meeting details are shared with intended participants. Anyone who receives or obtains a guest link can use its response flow. Share links carefully. Copies received by other people or saved to their external calendars may remain outside CAIendar’s control.

Notifications and the free launch

Firebase messaging processes a device delivery token to deliver notifications. Notifications may include a participant’s display name and identifiers used to open the relevant item after authentication.

CAIendar is currently free to use. This release does not offer subscriptions or purchases. This release does not include the RevenueCat SDK. Earlier subscription testing created records with RevenueCat linked to a CAIendar account identifier; retirement of those historical records remains in progress. We do not receive full payment-card details.

Service providers and security

Cloudflare processes API traffic and Neon hosts backend records. Google/Firebase provides identity, Calendar and notifications; OpenAI provides requested interpretation; Geoapify provides place suggestions; Google Play distributes the app; RevenueCat may retain records from earlier subscription testing. Providers may process information outside Egypt or your country.

HTTPS protects transport, backend permissions restrict access by user, and Calendar credentials are encrypted. Request controls and usage records help prevent abuse and duplicate charges against allowances. Security measures cannot guarantee that every risk is eliminated.

Storage and deletion

We keep account and planning records to provide your account’s features until you remove them or complete account deletion. Unresolved Calendar operations may require records to remain while cleanup is retried.

Encrypted copies used to recover successful metered requests become inaccessible after 24 hours; periodic cleanup removes expired copies. Usage counters remain separately to enforce allowances. After account deletion completes, a receipt containing a hashed account identifier and status expires after 30 days and is removed by periodic cleanup.

We delete routine support correspondence 90 days after the request is resolved. Database recovery history currently covers six hours. Manual recovery copies can remain beyond that window until reviewed and retired; they do not currently have automatic expiry. Security records and records held independently by providers follow their own retention processes. Account deletion does not guarantee immediate erasure from every backup or another person’s records. Contact homelancer8@gmail.com about a specific retention or deletion request.

Your choices

You can disconnect Calendar, revoke Google access, disable discoverability, deny Contacts or notification permissions, and choose not to use interpretation features. Revoking access prevents future authorized access but does not automatically erase previously stored CAIendar records.

Use the in-app deletion action or our account deletion request page to request account and associated data deletion. We verify ownership before acting. Do not email passwords, sign-in codes or private Calendar exports.

Changes and questions

We will update this notice when our handling of information changes. Contact homelancer8@gmail.com with questions or privacy requests.
