Delete your account

Before you request deletion

Your pending requests will close, and upcoming or ongoing CAIendar meetings will be cancelled. Other participants will be notified. Your profile, connections, saved Calendar data and app meeting history will be removed; past events in Google Calendar will remain.

Once deletion begins, it cannot be undone. Your Google account will not be deleted, and store subscriptions must be cancelled separately.

Without the app

Email us from the Google email address you use for CAIendar. Use the subject “Delete my CAIendar account” and state that you want your account and associated app data deleted.

Email a deletion request

You can also write directly to homelancer8@gmail.com. No website account or app installation is required to send a request. If you cannot access your original email account, contact us to discuss ownership verification.

We acknowledge emailed requests within 7 days and verify account ownership before acting. We aim to complete verified deletion requests within 30 days and explain any delays caused by unresolved provider operations. We delete routine support correspondence 90 days after resolution. Sending an email alone does not complete deletion. Never send a password, sign-in code, payment-card details or private Calendar export.

In the app

1. Open Settings, then Account & privacy.
2. Open Delete account and review the warning.
3. Follow the identity confirmation steps and select Delete my CAIendar account.

Signing out or disconnecting Calendar does not delete your account. In-app deletion is temporarily unavailable while historical subscription-test records are retired. Please use the email request route above during this work.

What happens next?

Cleanup removes your CAIendar profile and associated account records, connections and app planning data. Relevant pending Calendar operations must be settled before credentials are revoked and the sign-in identity is removed. Failed or unresolved provider operations can delay completion while cleanup is retried.

We retain a deletion-status receipt with a hashed account identifier until 30 days after completion, followed by periodic removal. Backups, support correspondence and independently held provider records have separate retention processes. See storage and deletion in the app privacy notice.

Other participants may retain copies in their calendars, messages or devices. Deleting CAIendar is not a request to erase your entire Google Calendar or Google account.

Subscriptions are separate

Account deletion does not automatically cancel a Google Play subscription. If you want renewal to stop, manage it in Google Play subscriptions. Payment and transaction records held by Google Play and RevenueCat are handled separately.
